After only one season in Seattle, Waylon Francis is coming back to the Crew! Francis was with the Crew from 2014-2017 and was a MLS all star in 2015. This is a great signing as Francis has proved with the Crew in the past to have excellent performances with the Crew in the past.
It's no secret that Santos hasn't lived up to expectations for the Columbus Crew. Signed in the summer of 2017, Santos helped boosted us to a deep playoff run that year but after that 2018 was a subpar year for him. In 2018, Santos appeared in 33 matches in which he started in almost all of those games, only to put up 1 goals and 4 assists. And for a Designated Player that just simply isn't good enough, do not be surprised if the Crew downgrade him from his DP contract just like they did to Jonathan Mensah when he wasn't preforming.
Now you don't see Crew fans blasting Santos on social media because its not like he is worthless. Just because Santos doesn't show up on the stats sheet doesn't mean he is terrible. Santos is a very hard worker on the field, and uses his speed to get by defenders as he is both left and right footed. He has great vision and can dribble pretty well and put in some good crosses at times. So whats the problem? He can't finish, which is why his stats are very low. Santos can be the hardest worker on the field but the end product just never happens, which is frustrating because of the level of talent that Santos has.
Santos may be out of the starting lineup in 2019. Not only we have a new manager, but also the arrival of Brazilian winger Robinho may take Santos spot on the wings. In addition, it looks like it's maybe Niko Hansen's time to start as Niko had a tremendous 2018 season. Even if Caleb Porter starts with Santos on the wings in the start of the season, he is under more pressure than ever to preform. Will Santos get another chance in 2019? Or is his time up?
it's been rumored for a while but Robinho has finally been announced! Robinho is a speedster that will hopefully help the Crew contribute goals in 2019 from the wing, which was something the Crew need to improve on in 2019. Welcome Robinho!
Welcome to the Crew JJ William's! JJ is a forward out of the university of Kentucky who scored 18 goals in 2018.
It is official! The Crew have announce Caleb Porter as the next head coach of the Columbus Crew! we all know this has been coming for a while, and its finally announced! Can't wait to see what Porter has in store in 2019!
Report: EPL sides Huddersfield, Fulham, Crystal Palace and multiple English Championship sides are reportedly interested in Columbus Crew and USMNT Striker Gyasi Zardes. The 27-year-old had a career year in 2018, bagging 19 Goals in 33 Appearances. Should Zardes go to England?!
Official: Columbus Crew will officially sign Brazilian winger Robinho Barbosa from Ceará in Brazil. The 23-year-old Brazilian winger has been rumored for quite some time to join Columbus Crew but I can confirm from an inside source that it should be announced very soon.

Welcome to the black and gold family Joe! Crew SC sign goalkeeper Joe Bendik who has played for Orlando,Toronto and Portland in his career making a total of 170 MLS appearances. This signing means Bendik is possibly Steffen's replacement for the second half of the season. Is this a good signing for the Columbus Crew?
