The LA Galaxy started preseason strong with a convincing 4-1 win against Japanese club Vissel Kobe. Two goals from Ola Kamara, a goal from Ema Boateng, and a Vissel Kobe own goal gave the LA Galaxy their first win of 2019. Vissel Kobe scored in the 37th minute and Iniesta’s penalty kick was saved by Bingham. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was also a stand out player as he assisted Kamara on both of his goals. This game allowed GBS to try out some younger players and trialists as well as insight on how the first team plays. Each player only played around 30 minutes to allow as many players as possible to get some game time. Overall this game was a good test for the Galaxy and a great way to start preseason.
