According to multiple reports coming out of the U.S and Italy, Daniele De Rossi could make a possible move to MLS club NYCFC on a free transfer. De Rossi has been rumored to be joining one of the New York clubs at some point in his career. After 18 years at Roma, he will now be released from the club at the age of 35. He made a total of 458 appearances for the club and 117 appearances for the Italian national team. If he were to sign for NYCFC, it would be for a maximum of 2-years the most.
Toronto FC are currently looking for forwards and wingers to help stabilize the team. According to multiple local reports within Toronto, Canada, 31-year-old Canadian forward Anthony Adur could be a potential target. Anthony Adur is a Toronto native and has previously played in the Canadian soccer league, USL, NASL, Singapore premier league, and the Thai Premier League. According to many sources, he is currently in negotiation with Wellington Phoenix in the Australian first division. He is a free agent at the moment and could be a useful forward for Toronto FC.
Finally, I decided to contact my inside source whom I haven’t talked to in a while since DC haven’t really been looking to sign anybody yet. Although I keep hearing about Asad coming back, so I texted him. He said “Yes, DC United are looking to possibly sign Yamil Asad, probably not this transfer window, but probably the next”. Now that I’m confirming DC do have plans on bringing Asad back, I wouldn’t be shocked seeing Zoltan Stieber leave. He has only started 1 match this season and been an unused substitute most of the season.

If MLS reaches an agreement with Mexican club Atlas, Toronto FC would be a step closer to signing Omar González. Omar González is a 30-year-old defender who currently plays for Atlas. Omar González has previously played for LA Galaxy, FC Nürnberg, Pachuca, and Atlas. He has also made 49 appearances for the USMNT.
It’s now May 1st, 2019. We are now six days away from the last day of the MLS primary transfer window which ends on May 7th. There have been many rumors going on in the last couple weeks. There is a rumor going on that Toronto FC were in talks with Arjen Robben have him join the club on a 2-year deal as a TAM player. DC United and FC Dallas want this deal to go through but they’re having issues with MLS approval. He’s already going to train with the club this week. Finally, it has been confirmed by multiple sources that Portland Timbers have finalized a deal to bring in Argentine forward Brian Fernandez from Liga MX club Necaxa for $10M+. According to many reports, Thierry Henry is currently in negotiations to join the Red Bull organization. RB Leipzig did recently announce the appointment of American manager Jesse Marsch who was a manager for NY Red Bulls and an assistant manager at RB Leipzig. Could Thierry Henry be the next manager for NY Red Bulls after an unsuccessful couple of months with AS Monaco. Thierry Henry did play for NY Red Bulls from 2010-2014 playing 122 games and scoring 51 goals.

Andy Carroll, the 30-year-old striker currently plays for West Ham but his contract will expire at the end of the premier league season. Report: According to Gregory Van Der Wiels most recent Instagram post, he will be moving with his family to LA. This could potentially mean multiple things. Former Toronto FC defender could potentially sign for any LA team at the moment. He could potentially sign for LAFC who could use another defender or LA Galaxy who are in need of better defenders. The Dutch defender recently played for Toronto FC but was released due to issues with the coach.
Rumor: According to an interview conducted by Radio Área Deportiva, Antonio Valencia’s father confirms that an unnamed MLS club has submitted a formal bid to sign Ecuadorian international Antonio Valencia. According to the interview, the unnamed MLS club submitted a proposal for a 2-year deal for the Ecuadorian international. The Manchester United defender has officially been confirmed to be leaving the club after the current season when his contract expires. The 33-year-old right back has previously played for El Nacional, Villarreal, Recreativo, Wigan Athletic, & Manchester United. Valencia has made over 240 appearances for Manchester United since joining band in 2009. He has been with Manchester United for over 10 years. Valencia has made 94 appearances for the Ecuadorian national team and scoring 11 goals for them since 2004.
